Walls Bakery: A Sweet Haven in Waldorf, MD

Yes! They are still good. Those chocolate eclairs are out of this world. This is the new spot the grands like to visit. Not only do they sell whole cakes, the sell huge sliced cakes. Makes for a great dessert buffet. My favorite is the carrot cake and eclairs. The grands love the strawberry tacos.

My wife and I arrived just after they opened, and they had already had a decent amount of business, so I recommend getting there early. We got 1/2 dozen donuts (buttercream stuffed, glazed, maple, chocolate, and fried cinnamon rolls). It was about $8 and completely worth it. The buttercream and covered donuts were all good, but we agree that the cinnamon rolls were amazing. They were about 6" across with the perfect amount of glaze, while being moist, and fluffy. We already plan to return.

Excellent baked goods. The young lady at the counter was awesome. The atmosphere is alright, I think it would be nice to have a couple little tables to be able to order coffee (could be self serve) and baked good, sit and enjoy it. But understand the possible nuisance of it. I would Definitely recommend Walls for their Baked Products. Support Family owned business’s!!

If you enjoy GOOD pastries without all the Pretentiousness stop here... Walls Bakery is DELICIOUS hidden little gem that out shines any of those Big Neo-Hippie places. The Danishes and Donuts that I purchased were worth every penny.

Work had me in the Waldorf area, after searching for a sweet treat I found a hidden gem off the main road. It was so good I had to make sure to stop by before leaving Waldorf to bring home more sweets for myself and the family. I would totally make the 2.5 hour trip back up to Waldorf just to stop in at Walls Bakery again. (I had iced French apple pie, bought family Woopiepie, chocolate cake slice, donuts) If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

I purchased 40 peanut butter-chocolate chip cookies for a friend's farewell function...I got multiple comments on how good they were. Well done Walls! I haven't visited you often, but it's always the best in baked goods! One suggestion; I made my purchase the day before the cookies would be served. To ensure freshness, I vacuum sealed the cookies. I own a vacuum sealer but other customers may not. Consider offering customers the option of vacuum sealing their purchase to maintain freshness if they won't be serving right away.

What a wonderful group of people! Their products are the absolute best of any place. The eclairs! Oh my gosh! They are heavenly. I have had many other eclairs from other bakery’s and I’m not exaggerating their eclairs are the only ones I will buy. 02/2026 I haven’t been able to get to the bakery which I am very disappointed about. Months ago I sent emails and spoke to an owner. I don’t want to give his name as I’m not sure if it would help and I don’t want to cause him any problems. I begged and begged for them to ship me eclairs. I know it’s possible because I had eclairs shipped to me from Wisconsin. They shipped frozen and got here perfectly. As I explained to the gentleman, I’m very ill and have no hope of getting there from here in Wyoming. I said I would gladly pay for dry ice and/or frozen bags. For several months I conversed with him via FB Messenger. He kept promising that he would make it work. I understood that he said he was busy but to continue to lead me on when I’m sure he knew he wasn’t going to bother with it. I was happy to order a large amount to make it worth it for them but he didn’t want to follow thru. Just continued to lead me on. So disappointed to have a person do that to me. I can’t recommend a business that treats their customers with such disrespect. I had made monthly trips to Waldorf from where I lived in Maryland.

Their donuts are absolutely delicious, the best I’ve had in Maryland so far. I’ve had the red velvet cake, lemon cake and the sugar free cookies which were also tasty. Visit early in the morning to get your best choice of goodies. The plain glazed donuts run out fast. This may also be a black owned business so that’s a plus!
